Taylor Jackson is one of our recommended photographers for many reasons. Taylor has spent the past 7 years of his career fine-tuning his ability to take high quality photographs and it truly shows.
He often goes on walks with his clients, Taylor says, “the more we move, the more relaxed we all are, and the more natural the photos are.”
“I want couples to actually experience their wedding day, and do everything I can to keep them in the day. I do not need 3 hours to do a bridal photo session on the grounds at Hacienda. It’s quicker to take a lot of pictures at one location than to drive around. I usually ask for 15 minutes with the couple, 15 minutes with the bridal party, and 15 minutes with the family. I like to take the bride and groom out for 5 minutes over sunset”
Taylors advise for choosing the right photographer on your wedding day is this:
1. Find and hire yourself and when you do, choose someone you have a connection with. A photographer with an average portfolio that you really get along with and connect with is going to give you better images than a photographer with a great portfolio and a personality you don’t mesh with.
2. Find someone nearby that you love – if they are too expensive, ask them whom they would recommend in your price range.
3. Ask your venue coordinator who their favorite photographer is. They work with different vendors each week and see the results in the photos.
We are proud to recommend Taylor as one of our talented Photographers.
