Bouquets and Boutonnieres
After “The Dress” the bouquet is one of the most personal bridal adornments. Modern brides choose a bouquet that reflects her personal style, wedding colours and traditions.
Although it is similar, it is often more grand than what the bridesmaids carry.
The bouquet is a perfect spot to add a small token from the important women in your life or from someone who may no longer be with us. A broach, linen handkerchief or special piece of jewelry from a loved one can be incorporated into the bouquet and can accompany you down the aisle on your wedding day.
During the medieval times, men wore the colours of their lady close to their heart during battle. It was said to ward off evil spirits and show his lady that she was worth fighting for; the epitome of chivalry. Today grooms typically take a flower or style element from the bride’s bouquet to signify the end of the modern man’s battle; wedding planning!
