You’ve been searching for weeks for the perfect place to have your wedding but nothing seems quite right.
You and your partner have walked through countless halls, trying to envision your friends and family sitting around elegant table settings and floral arrangements.
You just don’t feel it.
Though it may take some time, this is the journey of all couples on their way to the alter.
Great planners understand that it’s not only the details of the wedding day, but also the features of the venue itself that help to create an original, meaningful setting. The architecture, décor elements, artwork, and other special features of the venue are all things to look for during your tour.
A building with true personality only requires elegant arrangements and candles to create ambiance.

Every Venue Has A Story To Tell
The history of a property can impact the feel of the venue as well. Hacienda Sarria was created out of love by a husband who wanted to renovate the property for his wife after returning inspired from his journey through Spain.
Many local artists and craftsmen from Waterloo region helped to create Hacienda's old-world style. To this day their contributions are scattered about the property, helping to tell our story- and yours.
Although we’ve been told you can’t replicate the experience of seeing Hacienda first hand, here are a few of the intricate details found throughout our venue:
A Tribute to Don Quixtoe
The old-world European style of Hacienda is brought to life with our tribute statues of Don Quixote. A character from the classic Spanish novel "The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha", Don Quixote was determined to revive chivalry along with his partner, and his horse.

The Journey Through Spain
It was the father of our President at Hacienda Sarria, Nadine Day, who purchased and rennovated the property. His inspiration came from an 800km journey he took through Spain, which is detailed in an artistic map on our patio.
